  1. In the past couple of years, she has called over the course of 2 consecutive days. I think she has just begun so hopefully we will all get a call today or tomorrow. Fingers are crossed!!!! I'm so nervous right now.
  2. Anyone heard from them yet? Last year they made calls on Monday, March 21. Hopefully they'll be making calls in the next few days. Good luck everyone!
  3. You can find admission info in the 'Student Center' of the GET portal. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and you'll see an 'admissions' section. Mine says incomplete as well.
  4. I know 2 people personally who have been accepted to the 2019 MECN cohort who are turning it down. I would imagine that soon they will accept a whole bunch of people off the waitlist. And for those of you who haven't heard anything yet, depending on how many people aren't accepting a spot in the cohort, you'll either get waitlisted or rejected at that point. Good luck everyone!
  5. Hey all! I haven't written much on this thread but I've been following for a while. Anyhow, I just wrote RF to let her know that I am planning to enroll. I am so excited. I also just sent a request to join the FB page. Thanks whoever set this up. Looking forward to getting to know you all. And for those who didn't make the cut this year...I'm a big believer that all things happen for a reason. The wonderful thing about the nursing field is that there are so many different avenues in, and so many different destinations. This program may not be the right avenue or maybe this is not the year....but keep working hard and you'll find your way.
  6. Hello! I hope it's okay for me to post this here as opposed to in the student section. I'd really love to get some advice from those of you who have been working in the field for a while. I have been working as a birth doula for 10 years in the Los Angeles area and have attended over 100 hospital births and another 30 out-of-hospital births. And now... I am headed to nursing school. I am so incredibly excited to be making this life-long dream finally come true. I've been accepted into two schools so far. One program is an accelerated BSN and another is a direct entry-level MSN. The MSN program is 6 months longer but it's a better school with a more prestigious name. And, considering I am 42 years old, I like the idea of getting a masters degree. But I know that there is a bit of a stigma attached to getting a masters without any clinical experience. Any insight, thoughts, advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance
  7. Hi there. I was also accepted into the program and looking to register for the Nursing 50. I think you need to have a student ID # to register. I'm assuming we will get that when we gt accepted by the graduate school.
