This article insults nursing as a lower skilled job

This article insults nursing as a lower skilled job
dont really found the article offending, except from the word that was used -"low-skilled". but well, im just a nursing student and not yet a RN but my belief is that you only find something offending if it means youre guilty bout it...hey, thats only my belief.... we as nurses should not be moved only by this articles...Im proud of what i had chosen...we have here a proffesion that is where people really trust... and by the way copying an article is i think illegal especially for the reason that it will be posted in a forum...:)

PLEASE HELP! TOPIC-Men in Nursing
John, thanks for the compliment. many also of my friends took nursing and many are just like me....hoping for a better job abroad... its really sad to me that manyof RNs in here are all going abroad....its really just because they just want their families to have a better life....i guess its really have to be like that....its so hard to have a carreer here especially in this times....manyof my schoolmates here also have a plan to go to other countries and if God will I will too.... I had observed that many of my relatives and friends are all taking nursing course. and even if theres really someone who critisizes my male colleagues for choosing this carreer they nowreally do not care so much....and i think many of the Filipinos now had been accustomed to see male nursing students, like me....:) Jake

PLEASE HELP! TOPIC-Men in Nursing
hi! im just new here. I really just want to say that here in my country, descrimination among male nurses are lessening....though there are few people who would still think nursing profession as only for females....I'm also a first year nursing student and i too had suffered but only a little. in our school we have a good number of male enrollees....and i think that the nos. of male nursing students would continue to increase....:)
