  1. My statistics instructor directed us to use Khan Academy to prep for quizzes and as a tool for different ways of learning a concept. Very useful!
  2. Is this only for American schools or will Canadian Schools be added? If Canadian schools are allowed: Camosun College (Victoria, BC) North Island College (Comox Valley, BC) University of British Columbia (Vancouver, BC) Langara College (Vancouver, BC) University of the Fraser Valley (Chilliwack, BC) BCIT (Vancouver, BC) Vancouver Community College (Vancouver, BC)
  3. see you all in the fall!
  4. I heard they mailed both acceptance and rejection letters, so everyone should know either way! I don't live in Victoria so I guess it will take a bit longer to get to me. Congrats to everyone who's been accepted so far :)
  5. They do a small one in case some students who are accepted choose another school or defer. However, it doesn't carry to the following year.
  6. They give you a short amount of time to answer so that they can evaluate your gut reaction. You don't have much time to plan your response, so most people write the first thing that comes into their head. I found it to be alright. Some of the scenarios were a little odd, but overall I feel like I did my best. Now we wait! :)
  7. I've also been accepted to the next stage. I'm guessing there is not an interview after this stage, but that it has replaced the interview process. Good luck to everyone!
  8. Probably by next Tuesday at the latest. I think they had a higher than usual number of applicants and they have to schedule interviews for around 200 people, so that would take some time. Perhaps they're making more considerations than just GPA, taking into account people's ages and if they have previous degrees. They are a business, after all. They need a high graduation rate. Hopefully we hear by end of day tomorrow.
  9. I spoke with admissions and they said we'd receive email notifications by the end of the month.
  10. Hopefully soon! I feel anxious. I heard there were 635 applicants
  11. Hi, Just wondering if anyone's heard anything re: interviews? When I last spoke with admissions at the start of January they said they were only just starting to go through applications.
