Thanks for that detailed information steppybay. I am looking for schools in NJ because I will be moving there soon. And that's true that CA-BRN don't want any online courses that's why I am so eager to find a school that offers the program for my deficiencies, I really want to complete the coursework so I can have the eligibility and sit for the exam.

yes, it was before 2011.. I really don't know what to do whether I will complete the deficiencies, I had tried to contact schools in NJ and I can't find any program that's offering ms and ob.

Hi, I just want to update my post, after a month searching we had found one last copy of my clinical cases and my school send it to the CA-BRN last May. After 2 months of reviewing my documents, I received a mail from them saying I had deficiencies in Medical Surgical And OB courses. Is there anyway that i can appeal for that?. I have a classmate who were able to passed the eligibility in Ca-BRN and we had the same curriculum and almost the same date of clinical cases as well. My hopes are gone, I need advice. Thanks.

I am currently contacting my school to help me with this matter. I will keep you posted of whatever happens in my application, at least somehow in this way I can give a help to others who are experiencing the same situation. Thanks steppybay.

Thanks Steppybay for the response..I just don't know what to do whether I will ask my school to write an explanation letter for disposing our file and certify that I completed my cases way back in college to CA-BRN? I don't have an idea if it will help or make the situation complicated.

Hi guys, I applied for Licensure by Examination in Cali and I graduated from Philippines last 2009. I'm having a situation now I received a letter from the CA-BRN asking for additional requirements which is the clinical cases. My school told me that they don't have my clinical cases record anymore since it's been more than 5 years. Never did I expect that they would ask for it. What should I do? will they reject my application?.I'm really worried. I hope someone could give me information about this matter. Thanks.

Hi! I am a foreign nurse and I want to take NCLEX exam in California but haven't yet started my application. I have several questions: 1. I recently got married would it affect my application because all of my ID's are not updated yet. Is that alright if I will use my old license and ID?. 2. How long is the process in California?. should I apply via mail or online? which is faster?. 3. Are the request for transcript form and breakdown of Educational Program can submit anytime? or should I wait for a letter from the State Board after I apply?. Hoping for your kind help!Thanks.
