  1. Good Evening Everyone, I am a student at WGU getting my post-masters certificate in leadership & management in MA. I am looking for assistance finding a preceptor ASAP! Below are requirements: Preceptor Requirements: Registered nurse with an active, unencumbered license to work in the state where the host site is located. (The host site is the facility where the clinical practice experience will occur). Holds a master's degree or higher in any field. Must be an employee of the Field Experience host site Has 2 years or more experience in healthcare leadership or management. Preceptors Role: Signs the Preceptor Agreement form (link below). Facilitates learning opportunities and provides information and expertise to students. Responds to student questions in a timely fashion, using mutually agreeable channels and timing. The Preceptor and student can arrange communication, whether in person or via technology, at mutually convenient times. Helps the student apply their coursework to the current healthcare industry and provides context and real-world relevance. Signs student CPE timelogs. Students do not have to shadow the Preceptor. Preceptor is not obligated to spend a certain number of clock hours with the student. Sign the attached "Preceptor Feedback of Student Performance" form at the end of the student's program. ANY assistance or guidance is much appreciated! Please reach out to me via email @ [email protected]. Thank you ?
