I was told that San pedro managers are taking their time to select the right candidates. Also having BSN doesn't give you priority I believe in San pedro or other providence. All select candidate who doesn't have BSN they are hired contingent on getting it within 3years. No rejection email means maybe your application is still under consideration, good luck and keep us updated.

Update: I recieved an offer and now I am in preboarding process. If everything goes well I will start April. Thank you

Thank you! Congrats to you too. The last think I heard from my onboard specialist is to send my BLS card. I recieve a copy of Backgro7nd check saying that I meet the hospital standard. How did u find out that you drug test is cleared? I did mine March 3.

How long after you do background check and drug test you get called for a physical? When do we expect to receive the information about the orientation and where and what time exactly?

Yes I just got in contact with HR and they offered me the job for $29 an hour with an increase of $1 every three months for the first year plus $3 differential for night shift. So I had to resend the offer. I think I'm just going to take the Telemetry position which pays way more than what they are offering me 4 emergency department positions.

I did my preceptorship 12am-12pm which I loved. You sleep regular hours and you have time to do all u need in the morning before heading to work. This schedule was in the ED.Too bad they don't hire new grad there but I will start there at that hospital in Tele which is 7-7:30. Hopefully after a year I can transfer to the ED.

I got an offer for Telemetry position which I think I am going to take. I haven't heard from ED position yet.

So , I was interviewed today for ED ppsition. The ED director said that she likes me and I would be good fit. She said that I will be hearing from HR next week with a formal offer. So I am assuming that I will be hired The only thing is that I didn't ask for the pay rate . I was looking now some old post and saw that the hospital was paying $23 in 2013 for new grad . Should I call HR and find out how much they pay or just wait for their call?

Hello, can you please tell me how is the environment like there in Emergency Department at HP. I had interview today which I think good. I was told that I will hear back from HR next week with a formal offer. Can you please share how is the starting pay since It didnt feel right to ask that question before I get the offer. Thank you

I just finished my interview. I was interviewed by only one person. I think I did well .All the questions were situational questions. After I finished the interview I offer letters of recommendations to the manager but they refused. The manager said " you will give them to me later if I hire u" . Is that a bad sign? I perceived his answer as I am not going to hire you so why bother with ur letter of recommendation. What you think? Any thought ?

I applied as well, and I just had an interview today . I saw other candidates been interviewed . I was told by the manager that he will interview more candidates tomorrow . I was told to expect a call on Friday if I get hired. The manager refused to take letters of recommendations so I am not sure why. I am thinking the he already decided not to hire me. What you think ?

I think they are lowballing me because I am New Grad and yes rent is like $1700_1800 for two beds . I have two interviews for different positions in the coming days so hopefully I get hired. 1st is for Tele, 2nd is for ED. Although I love to start in the ED, but Tele is at a hospital that I did all my clinicals and most of the staff are nurturing and graduated from same program as I.
