I read though the student handbook they have online and it was saying that uniforms, registration, and most of the other things we need to do will be addressed at the mini orientation. Hopefully they will send more information before the mini session though!!

Called this morning and I was also accepted!!!! So incredibly excited to start in the fall and get to know all of y'all!

Same. I figured I would give it until Friday but the waiting is slowly driving me insane.

I only applied to MUSC and Clemson's new Accelerated Program. I should be hearing from Clemson towards the end of March but lately I have been thinking about it and I'm not sure if I would attend Clemson's program if I don't get into MUSC this cycle. Since I'm a Charleston local it just makes more sense financially to work as a CNA or PCT for a few months and reapply for MUSC's spring semester. But overall I'm not trying to think about it until I hear from MUSC!!! Fingers and toes crossed! How bout the rest of y'all? Are you waiting on decisions from other schools?

You still probably have a chance. I know someone who got in last year and just on her acceptance letter it said that she need to take 2 classes that summer to start that fall.

@samaria37 you may just not have checked the box that said you would like to receive more financial aid information. The only reason I asked about it was because it seemed like the decision letters typically followed soon after in previous feeds.

Same! I applied to one other program just as a backup but have been considering re-applying for MUSC's spring semester no matter what if MUSC doesn't accept me for the fall. Since I'm from Charleston and ultimately want to work in the hospital it just would be amazing to be apart of their program!!!

Did you all apply to multiple programs? Or is MUSC your top choice?

Regular admission also in-state. I have talked to a few people who are in the program now and the committee meets in the middle of this month typically and sends out the letters around the second week of March.

I'm right around their average of 3.4 cumulative but my prereq gpa is higher. I had a rough freshman year with the adjusting to college and being premed, so I've been working to bring it up since then. I know that more people typically apply for the fall admission vs. spring so I'm a little worried about how many applicants there will be.

Do y'all have any previous degrees or a lot of experience? I'm actually from Charleston and finishing up my bs in psych from Clemson University. I have not had direct experience other than shadowing in the ER and volunteering with individuals with special needs.

I applied for Fall 2017 also and literally am going crazy waiting until March to find out!
