  1. I applied to Burbank and Missions Hills for OR, ICU, ER, but haven't heard anything back yet. Hopefully, I'll hear something soon, but I'm not sure if these hospitals and departments are accepting this cycle.
  2. I'm also anxious about the GET portal. I just checked mine, and it still states "incomplete"...
  3. Hey everyone! I got in CSULA, so I emailed Michelle yesterday to forfeit my spot. Another slot just opened up, and I hope one of you get it! I think all the remaining interviewed applicants are placed on the alternate list.
  4. Hi all! I got an acceptance call today, 3/21, around 1:30pm. I interviewed on 2/21, and my last name starts with an "L". I'm so excited to meet you all and hope the rest of you make it in as well!!!!!
  5. I also got in! Like Caorlaeu said, we have to give a decision by March 31st... which is also the date we're supposed to hear back regarding an admissions decision for CSULA! If I get into CSULA, I will give up my spot at CSUF.
  6. Good luck to everyone! Waiting for that fateful call...!
  7. Hi j6doll, glad to hear you got into another program and are going to another CSU! Thanks for the update that decisions are being sent out.
  8. Hi MiniPax, I also got a notification for the GET portal. I logged in and my application status states incomplete, so I think they are still making a decision? I didn't receive any correspondence that my application was lacking. I hope we hear back soon! Decisions are supposed to be by March 31st.
  9. xnurses123, I totally agree! This year's thread has been very quiet. I don't think we have to complete the vaccines or the physical before the orientation date, but we do need them before we start the program since we jump into clinicals pretty quickly. I think Kathy recommend we complete the vaccines and physical as early as possible because some hospitals require that information to be processed and cleared before we can start rotations.
  10. Hey Atemplo! I looked at last year's forum, and there was someone who was invited for an interview on February 25th and was accepted to the program. There's still hope for you! :)
  11. Maybe follow up with Cindy to see if you still need to send in transcripts? I just got an interview invite yesterday night. From last year's thread, someone who was accepted got an interview invite Feb 25, so there's still hope! Best of luck to you as well!
  12. Hey ICUtech--Cindy, the application instructions stated to not apply to the university during the regular application cycle (Oct 1 - Nov 28) and wait for an email regarding specific instructions on applying to the university. I would guess Admissions emailed you about your transcripts because you applied to the university during the regular cycle. Have you gotten a confirmation email about your application?
  13. I just got an invitation to interview this evening! Glad to hear some communication back from the program after waiting! @ru11, I think that's a good hypothesis. :)
  14. Just got an email from the program developer regarding ABSN CSUMentor application instructions. Anyone else get the same email?
  15. Congrats JeslinB, that's awesome! Thanks for letting us know and good luck!
  16. Thanks! I hope it's enough experience; still waiting on an interview invite. Have you had your interview yet? Potentially pediatrics, but also thinking of ICU and maybe CRNA in the future. Very cool! Fast track is good for NPs. Education is in high demand too, so it would be great to give back to the nursing community in that respect. Are the programs you applied to all accelerated bachelors or are some entry level masters?
  17. Emercat, you definitely seem qualified, especially in terms of experience! 4.5 years as an EMT is a long time. TEAS: 99th percentile Nursing GPA: 4.0 Undergrad GPA: 3.77 Experience: volunteer in a hospital for around 375 hours and continuing. Long time volunteer for pediatric oncology camp. I'm also applying to CSUSM, Fullerton, Sacramento, and Chico plus LA Harbor College. What other programs are you applying to? Do you know what field you want to practice in?
  18. That would be great, thanks for the info!
  19. Emercat, that's amazing! I turned in my application on January 6th, in person as well. I got my confirmation email January 21st. Still waiting for an interview invite. Like you said before, they were sending out invites throughtout February, so fingers crossed! Best of luck to you! You must be an amazing applicant! What were your statistics?
  20. Thank for starting this thread! I'm glad to hear some people have been invited for interviews; congratulations! I got an application confirmation email on January 21st after submitting on January 8th. I'm so nervous, I hope I get an interview! For people who got an interview invitation, when did you submit your application?
