I believe our hospital offers reimbursement for NCLEX (if requested) and they just started offering new graduate nurses who get hired a $10,000 sign on bonus. I would ask your hospital if they offer relocation assistance. Ours does as some others that I've heard of. Best wishes! Hope you hear something soon.
I know this is an old thread, but the claim was that instructors changed grades. Del Mar is terrible! NEVER consistent with anything. They will curve tests one semester and not in another. I know people who had to drop a level and return due to failing a last test. Then when they went back they gave a 10 point curve on the same test the next semester. I had a terrible clinical instructor who thought I wasn't fit to be a nurse. She made sure I didn't pass clinicals. It sucks that Del Mar is the only reasonably priced RN school in the Corpus area. Anyone want to give me a scholarship to A&M Corpus Christi? J/K but still.
