  1. I would recommend trying to find a roommate, living costs are pretty high here (maybe comparable to Seattle living, I would imagine). I have some friends that pay over $1000 for studio apartments! I think NAU has some kind of listing page and people seek out roommates on that, but if you go that route maybe you can find someone in our program. Congrats by the way!
  2. Im in as well! so exciting! Did you figure out the pathology course?
  3. Yes, an advisor told me that Human pathophysiology 218 at the Flagstaff local community college would satisfy this requirement. However, when I took it they only offer a full semester course fall/spring. Good luck!
  4. I remember it being pretty general and basic for the neurology. I recommend that you have a basic understanding on the functions and responsibilities of each lobe and major areas like the brain stem and hypothalamus. Also the basic physiology of CNS/PNS and neurons. I thought that the science section was pretty straight forward, especially if you have taken AP recently. I scored an 89 on it. The Kaplan book was so terrible as study source for this section. Good luck!
  5. Hi guys, I also applied to the 2017 program. I guess it is just the waiting game now, although I was definitely not satisfied with my application. On the Kaplan I got an 81 overall, and 89 in science. Math was my best subject, but that writing section dropped my overall big time. I found that section a little subjective, I actually love writing too and standardly get A's on essays... Also still have 2 Bs on the pre reqs too. Anyways good luck!
