  1. OC location? I think you're confusing this for West Coast University. This is the thread for Western University of Health sciences, which is located in Pomona.
  2. Heard a lot of great things about this program
  3. It will give you the license you need to practice. How good you will be is up to you and the effort you continue to put in.
  4. How intense is first year?
  5. Do you guys think it will be hard to get a job as an RN?
  6. Job sounds like an excellent experience. But yeah...think you would need an RNFA certif to do this since unlike PA's, NP's don't have this kind of training.
  7. wow only 4 days/week? thats legit! do many of you work during school then?
  8. duh...................
  9. Anyone else on waitlist hear back yet?
  10. I believe it. It seems like everyone who didn't get in were just placed on the alternate list. Super discouraged.
  11. Lol I know! Seems like everyone got on the alternate list.
  12. Congrats! I only applied to Western but Hopkins would be amazing.
  13. Haha I know...longest wait ever~
  14. Nice. Is westernU your first choice?
  15. I wonder how many EAODs actually accepted..
  16. Yup I could definitely see that being the only downfall of this program as I know many hospitals in the area these days only hire/prefer BSN candidates and they are already filtering through hundreds of applications. Depending on how Westerns affiliations play into this, this could actually prolong ones entire MSN road map to be longer than 3 years imo. But then again, i'm only thinking theoretically...i don't have any confirmation of this. If any people from previous cohorts can chime in, that would be great.
  17. Do you guys/gals think it would be hard to get a job as an RN in order to finish off the MSN portion? After all, we would be competing with BSN applicants..
  18. Anyone hear anything back?
