Problem With My Cvs/ny Application

Hi guys,

i am getting desappointed about my process. i am going thru an application for licensure in NY. cgfns/cvs got my transcripts from my nursing school without any problem but apparently the Ministry of health of my country are not really willing to validate my license. I have been waitting for more than 10 months now. I spoke with cgfns and they kindly extended dateline. We waited then for 1 month and I am pretty sure now they goig to close everything and send my file to the NY BOARD of nursing for a decision. Do I still have a chance to get an ATT to take the test? I am getting frustrated so that I do not want to waste my time studying for nothing.

I would appreciate any input

NY will make their own assessment as is the case with CVS, all CGFNS do is get all documentation together

The CVS is not a credentials evaluation as most believe. It only gathers the required information/documentation that NY requires. NY then does their own evaluation with what was submitted to them. It is going to be 100% up to them to make the determination once they receive things from CGFNS.

Usually everthing is sent on after six months. CGFNS does nothing else with the file.

Best of luck to you.
