Hi everyone! I hope anyone could help me on my problem regarding my exam application because I am so anxious and so streesful about this. I am a foreign nurse from the Philippines and passed the local board exam before I came here. I applied for NCLEX-RN exam last January and after a couple of weeks they send me a letter and told me to comply on the requirements listed to get my eligibility.
After a couple of months I called them if they already received my Transcriptsand RLE submitted directly by the school where I graduated. The operator confirmed that they already have it and I just need to give my license and diploma and I will be able to get my eligibilty after that. He also transfered my call to my evaluator to make sure that I will send the rest of the requirements to her directly. My evaluator gave me her email address and emailed me that I just need to email her the copy of my diploma and license to complete my application. It took me 3 months to get my license because I didn't get a chance to file for my license before I got here. So I went to Philippine Embassy, take the oath and made a Special Power of Attorney for my representative in the Philippines. In short, I did completed the rest of the requirements.
Here goes the problem, after I emailed her the requirements I called her to asked if she received my email. She confirmed that she received it but she told me that she have to review my transcripts again because of the new policy of CA BON. I asked her what is the new policy so I could comply with it soon. She said that she can't tell me over the phone and I have to wait for her mail. I was not happy about our conversation because she clearly told me 3 mos. ago that I only need to pass my license and diploma and I will get my eligibility. So I called her again the next day and
in my surprise she told me that it take a year to complete for a file I asked her why one year and she's just keep on telling me it takes one year!
I don't unerstand why she can't tell me over the phone about my application and why she gave me different information everytime I talked to her. Is there anybody experienced the same thing that's happening to me right now? It's very frustrating! Any advice? Please....

Do you have a SSN? that may be the policy they are talking about, otherwise I have not heard that anything has changed in regards to CA
Yes, I have SSN and I am a permanent resident here in the US. Thanks for the reply :) It helps me to boost my hopes...
