Hello. As a RN, I have been on a year suspension and waiting for my board hearing to come off of the suspension and see what happens next. Normally, all nurses are then placed on probation for a time after the suspension. (My suspension was not substance abuse/alcohol abuse related, nor anything criminal.). My question is this. I live in Indiana, and I have only ever been licensed in this state but now it looks as though my husband's job will be moving him to either the Washington DC area or the Georgia/Florida region. Does anyone know of any conditions/stipulations that I might be able to utilize to "impress" a board of nursing in one of those states to give me an unencumbered license? Or anyone know of any state that is Moreno lenient and I might have a better chance of obtaining an unencumbered license? Most of them won't if you are on probabtion in another state. Thank you for any advice you have to offer.
