Probation Nurses

I have a question.

I looked at the Texas Board of Nursing probation nurse list. They have them posted for the last several years.

With page and page after agreed orders and stipulated and discilipanary there were several nurses.

Where is all of those nurses working? How is all of them working and all the employers saying its blacklisted on probation.

Obviously all of them have employment.

Depending on stipulations finding employment is not impossible. Even with a no controlled substance contact stipulation, some employers are friendly to nurses under probation contracts.

I need a fit for duty test to be done before I can work. Problem? My case mgr will not approve anyone I send. The BON just changed the order to read done by MD or APRN   Before only MD. The only place my case mgr suggested charges 4500-9000 paid in full 4 weeks before the appointment. I have an attorney who says no way. I don't have a PCP and don't know where to go from here. Anyone from ohio have suggestions?

Ohio is one of the worst states I've heard because there's no health professional recovery program. Maybe try a neighboring state that has one and see if they have someone licensed in Ohio.  They usually want an addiction specialist or psychiatrist.

Good luck
