Prn CNA pay

I just got a reply back today and found out how much I will be making... 13.75 an hour. Not only that, but after midnight I will make 1.29 extra which will come up to 15.04 an hour..plus with the 1.25 for the weekend extra, that's 16.29 for the weekend. I am just shocked, as I never made that much when I first started my first cna job, which was 8.35 an hour with 2 dollars extra for learning blood draws and blood sugars. Is it me, or is that how much CNAs usually make for prn? Thoughts?

Not sure, but everything you said lines up with the starting pay for CNA's in my area. Only new CNA's make about a dollar less an hour starting pay, but all those weekend and extra night pay are pretty much exactly the same.

Wow you are so lucky , to be PRN in the LTC I work they'll pay 12.5o hr/ but you don't get differential on night shift , evenings , or weekends . I work plain as 12.5 hr / no matter what shift it is. They consider benefits, to people who work full time only. Having differential on my pay check will be when I get the FT. Wich I don't want . Since I will be making 10.50 hr. Than ... Does no make sence . I just want a job in a hospital . And I'm doing per diem for that reason . I hate per diem. I hate the money I get. But I love what I do. I will get my experienc as a new cna . And bye bye c yaaa.. Lol... Good luck . God bless you
