Private Student Loans

Hey everyone,

I will be starting an ABSN program in June, and am going to need to apply for private "alternative" loans for some of my education costs.

Anyone here have experiences, good or bad, to share?

I have good credit, as does my spouse, so hoping it won't be too difficult to get things funded.

    Did you talk to the institution about applying for financial aid? Usually the financial aid department can help find loans that are suitable for your situation and goals. Make sure you have your fasfa filled out before talking to them.

    I've had loans in the past and there are a lot of grants and scholorships out there for nursing students. It takes time and some searching on the web but if you meet all the requirements then you wouldn't have to pay any of it back.:D
