what about a Private facility?

I have 10 years experience working as a nurse, and am considering psychiatic nursing which i always found most interesting in nursing school and "out in the field". What are the differences in working in a private vs public or state facility?

Mish56----I think I work now for the facility in which you speak.....I was moved from the adolescent unit (thank heavens) so a full timer could take my shift....everything you said rings true....I just can't believe a co. that owns that many hospitals, is making so much money, will not staff enough for us to give the time and care these pts. deserve....Oh wait....they did announce that they will be doing a "cosmetic renovation" ... how wonderful!!! one million dollars to make the place pretty, but can't afford a few more nurses/techs...?????????

thats a Private facility in a nut shell............
