I'm stuck on a priority NANDA for a module. Here's the major points. Admission after MVA with DX of spleen laceration and rib fracture. VS 37.1 124 26 100/60 and 94% on RA. pain in abdomen and side. Firm abdomen. Hbg is 6.8. K is 3.6. Sleepy but aroused with name. Hypotensive, tachy, and high respirs. Diminished breath sounds. HR regular. I'm stuck between deficient fluid volume for internal bleeding and impaired gas exchange for a pneumothorax. The assessment data is inconclusive to point one way or another. Following my ABC's, I'd do with impaired gas exchange.
