Prerequisites for nursing program

Published

Hi everyone!

I am currently taking my first prerequisite for my local nursing program and I'm just looking for tips to get through it with an A+. I am currently taking anatomy and physiology 1 so I am looking for tips to get an A in this class and following classes. We are 6 weeks in and I have an 82 because I got a C on our first exam. I am usually an A+ student so does anyone have any study tips for me? I take good notes, print out all slides, complete notes that go with modules, read the text book and take notes, etc. I also try to study every single day and I still am not doing as good as I was expecting.

Also, next semester I was planning on taking Anatomy and physiology 2, microbiology, and pharmacology so I can apply at the end of the fal semester. Is this going to be too much in one semester? If so, which one would be best to take in the summer time? (Online)

Thank you!

You might want to check with the program you're interested in and see how competitive it is. If you need all As, it might be better to break those classes up ...especially if you're making a B now while taking only one science. If you only have to pass or you're confident you can make As, all three might be an OK idea.
