Hi ALL!!

I am currently in grad school obtaining my NP degree in psych. Is there ANYONE who can assist me with facilities in my area or is an NP themselves that can assist me or have any advice on where I can go to complete my clinical hours!!

I really need help, I have called, emailed, visited sites with no positive response.

I live in Tampa Florida!

Thank you guys so much!

I am having the same problem in Racine, Wisconsin! I wish I had known how hard it would be to find a site before I got into my program. Some universities actually help place their students. Unfortunately, my university doesn't place MSN students, and that was not well explained prior to my enrolling. I am struggling to find a site and am stressed over this so much.

Does your university not help place students? I'd also reach out to your university alumni network as this can be a great resource for finding placements in your area! (And targets NPs who would be familiar with your program).

My employer does accept both NP students and MD students for psychiatry clinical rotations, but unfortunately I'm on the opposite side of the country from you.

Hopefully you found a placement!

H! I wanted to follow up on this, since I am moving to Tampa! this month and currently in my first semester of PMHNP school. Were you able to find placement? If so where? any recommendations on facilites in tampa to work at as a psych RN or psych NP? Places to steer clear of?

Thank you
