That's all it says in the eligibility requirements, it doesn't actually say which test will be used. I took the NET back in 2002 when I was applying to a different nursing program. Sadly I was accepted but had to decline due to family issues (going through a divorce, working fulltime, taking care of two very young children, and other family stress). I can't remember how well I did but it was good enough to get in the first time I applied. But I'm sure I will have to take another preadmission test and I'm wondering if there are others.
Maybe that sounds naive but I've only heard of the NET for nursing. I took the CAT one time for a surgical tech program I applied for a few years ago. I still have my study guide for the NET from 2002, does the test change over the years or will this help me prepare for the current test?
Thanks in advance for your responses...

I looked at 3 programs each had a different test, TEAS, NET and HESI-A or something like that. Not to mention one is making me repeat my COMPASS because they want to make sure its the same version! Ah whatever, as long as I got in.
Ugh. Thanks. I know that I've seen those other tests mentioned here but I didn't know if they were entrance tests. Are they all about the same? I meant to include that question in the email I sent earlier but I forgot about it. Oh well, I guess I'll wait until they respond then I'll ask them what test they give.
the TEAS is more general education admission similar to the ACT/SAT that High school seniors take. The NET and HESI are pretty much the same NURSING type extrance exams. TEAS's SUCKED!

I took the hesi, but another college close to here does the net. I had a friend who told me her college did an entrance exam that started with P, but I don't remember the name.

Hey there!! :)
We had to take the basic admission tests in reading and mathematics, as well as the pre-admission ATI-TEAS. You can go to:

...and there are some practice questions there. I think it's a solid investment, personally. :redbeathe
