Hi I am just starting Wake Tech and I wanted to know what pre reqs not to take together. Like which ones is the hardest and which ones shouldn't it take together? I do work full time nights right now but have switched my nights around to where I do not have to work on a school night. I also will be going to one or two nights a week once I am in the actual nursing program. Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks!!!

Try to avoid taking the "big 3" at the same time (micro, anatomy and physiology, or A&PI and A&PII depending on how things are there). Be sure not to load things up so heavily that your GPA suffers, because as I'm sure you know, a high GPA is vital, especially in the sciences.
good luck!

Good day, sgilliam2011:
While I did take AP2 and Microbiology at the same time, it was difficult. Most professors and advisors do advice as RunBaybRun did in terms of not taking the three real hard core (AP1, AP2, Microbiology) at the same time.
Thank you.

I am doing only one major bio class a semester. I don't suggest doing two-three at a time, I know I couldn't do it. Some people who are truly dedicated can do it though. If you want an A I would definitely do it separately. Everything else possibly 4-5 classes at time. I usually do 4 classes a semester including a Bio class. :)

I did A&P 1 with micro this semester and I didn't find it that difficult. That said, it depends on the individual & how much time you have to put into studying.

It depends on the person if you take two or more science together. I took Anatomy and Physiology, Microbiology, and Pharmacology together and ended up with A's in all the classes.

For most of this year, I worked full time (days) and took two science pre-reqs w/lab at a time. It was very, very busy and I would advise against trying to do more than that at once. I did take Micro and Anatomy II together this semester, which my school normally doesn't allow - I got an override, which I questioned the intelligence of doing at times :/ That said, I don't think it would have helped me THAT much to have taken anatomy first. I agree, it depends on the student, but expect to be pretty busy if you do two lab sciences at once while working.
