Pre nursing student

Hello everyone!! right now i am in my first year of nursing school, and I am looking for a part time job. I have applied to many doctors office, hospitals, clinics, anything you can think of i did it. I have taken medical terminology and nutrition in school already. I am interested in anything like secretarial or front office work in a medical setting..ex. hospital or Doctors office.I have a lot of admin experience and i also worked for a Health insurance company for a while. Does anybody know of any companys out there for me that are willing to work with college students....i Live in tampa florida....P.S. I am willing to do anything to get my foot in the door.

Most places like that either want a full time employee or someone with experience and even then it's hard to find a job.

How far are you in your nursing program? I know that Brandon Regional will hire nursing students as CNA's as long as they have passed fundamentals.

well i am just finishing my first year so.. thats why i am willing to do anything even justbeing a file clerk...well thanks for your help vc:loveya:

Try Florida Heart and Vascular on Fletcher by USF. I used to work there and they have many front desk people, not sure if they did part time or not but I think it is a place you would learn alot. When I was there 4 years ago the person to talk to was Melisa Beaver, not sure if she's there anymore. They also had a location in Carrolwood - ? I think that was the name of the area, could be wrong, its been awhile- they had a part-time girl at that location.

Good Luck.
