Pre-Lvn Class?

Have any of you experienced this? My hopes are to get in to Downey Adult School's LVN program. I tested in February, and was accepted in to their 5 week Pre-Lvn course. From the 60 that take this class 30 are chosen to move on to the actual year long program. I tried looking on the site for a course description, but it doesn't go in to detail what we will be covering.

Have any of you had this sort of thing happen? And if so what were the materials that were covered? I guess I will find out Wednesday when I start, but I just wanted to get a head start lol. Kind of an over achiever, but mainly just want to make sure I'm one of the 30 that get to move on. Any insight would be great. Thanks :D

Hurst Review helped me pass the nclex.

I am interested in knowing what the 5 week pre lvn program was all about please. I am eager to know what the course is about and what I can better to improve my chances of making on the 30 students that get accepted. Please, please I beg you to get back at me and give me your opinion and if possible some pinpoints. I need to make more money to provide for my family because being a medical assitant barely gets the bills paid. Thank you so much in advance.

I dont' know anything about the program but I would suggest a few things: Always be early, at the very least on time. Study study study, get the very top grades you can get. Ask tons of questions, stay for any extra help sessions offered. These things would help to show yourself as a serious student. Best of luck!

Thank you Lmomma and I will definitely take ur advice.
