I just graduated and passed NCLEX and have my NY licence, but may have to re-locate to Idaho or Washington for family issues. Do I have to write the NCLEX again to get a licence in another state? If not, then what is involved?

No, you don't need to pass the NCLEX again. That's a onetime thing, countrywide. You DO need to contact the board of nursing in the state you are going to and see what they want you to do in order to get a license in their state. There will likely be a form you fill out, a background check, and of course....money.
Thanks!

You just need to follow the License by Endorsement application for the new state and submit what is asked for. Simple as that.
