Hey guys,
I will be attempting my nclex for the second time in the new few weeks . My ATT is good until mid october, so I was thinking of taking it sometime in early september. My question is, I am not sure if I will have to take it sooner since I will be going on an interview soon..... so can I schedule for early september now, and reschedule for an earlier date if need be without a fee or penalty? Spots seem to be filling up, and I would like to take it as close to home as possible..
Also! I know this shouldn't even cross my mind but how many times can you test with one ATT? Is it only good for one test?
Thanks. :)

As long as you reschedule at least 24 hours in advance of your currently scheduled test, there is no charge. I have known people who rescheduled multiple times to move up their date without any problems.
It's my understanding that each ATT is only good once and you have to obtain a new ATT to retest. Hopefully that will NOT be the case for you - good luck!!

Great! I will go ahead and schedule it then. And yes! I have every intention that this second time will be my last time!! Thanks!!

Hey Good Luck to you!!!
Im going to scheduled second time too, i gust got the papers saing that i failed, so my question is that i have to pay another 150$ to get the paper and 200$ for ATT againe? Even tho that my ATT is due in mild of October?
Thank you
Yes you will need to pay another 200 to pearson vue to take the test again. I also had to pay another 80 to professional something and not the 230 like the first time since my application is still within a year. Better luck next time! When you receive for report in the mail it will tell you how to re-register and retake the test.
Well for me its going to cost 150$ for re scheduling and another 200$ for att, this is just rip off i think, Thank u so much!

ATT is only valid for one attempt so even though you notice it has a valid date for x amount of months as soon as you sit NCLEX it is invalid to use anymore.
