Specializes in Dementia/longterm care.

If you have a BSN from your country universities here offer programs for those that have international degrees to move you to take the courses needed to aquire the same degree in America.

There's a good chance that - if you're not a resident of Hawai'i - you can't go to nursing school here. You may have to live here for 12 months, establish residency. AFTER you are a resident, the schools will accept you, allow you to take nursing classes.

Is your bachelor's degree in nursing, or some other field? If it is in nursing, you can take the NCLEX in the Philippines when you go back. (As Lisa said, you most likely cannot attend nursing school in Hawaii if you are not a resident here already.)

There really isn't much you can do while you are here in Hawaii at this time. There is a retrogression in place, so you will have to wait several years to immigrate to the US. You may want to consider other countries while you are waiting.

If you are here on a tourist visa...just enjoy your vacation in Hawaii! You'll have plent of time to figure out what you want to do once you are back in the PI. Good luck.
