Please help Failed Nursing Classes

Hi, if anyone can give me any advise I am astudent at adelphi university in ny Im a transfer student I have recently received a c in ob and a c in med surg I this semester which is unacceptable at my college you must get nothing lower tahn a c+ I missed ob by 2 points and not sure about med surg I asked both teachers for extra credit work to obtain the grades but both decline me I have a meeting with the dean next week to discuss my grades and somehow try and stay in the program and also i wrok an appeal letter. worst case if iam not accepted back into the program what school in long island or nyc or near area will accept my grades were i could continue my desires to become a nurse. is their other options for me that I am unaware of. Please help me any info at this point will be helpful. :crying2:

I completely agree. If you do make it through school (and good luck!) you'll have a very difficult time finding a job if your cover letter is written in a similar manner. You don't have to use million dollar words and semicolons, but capitalizing words at the beginning of sentences and using proper punctuation shows not only a basic level of education, but respect for the reader. We have punctuation for a reason- it's difficult to read a paragraph without it!

Side note- Nascar nurse, I believe you mean $0.02 ;)

Awe come on...my great advice was worth 20 cents! LOL...just kidding. I did mean two cents.
