Planning a Garden

I haven't been able to do anything in the garden this Summer because of issues with my eye and having two Surgeries. I took an bunch of pictures last wek so I could start mapping out my Garden which will include some permnent plants, medicinal and culinary herbs and of course vegetables. I would welcome any planiting suggetions. I am in Zone 9 Climate zone.

So I found an easy way to get my garden area roto-tilled. Got up dressed and went out and began trying to start the tiller. It has a pull start. My husband comes out to see what all the cussing is about. H starts the tiler and does the whole area.
