Plan of study NCLEX - RN board?

Hi,

Any one has any advice to do plan of study. I took my nclex -RN 2 times and failed. I feel like breaking apart. I graduated 10 years ago. some other issues came along the way & then I couldn't do NCLEX - RN board exam. Recently everything starts working & then I started to join the kaplan class. It help me little. I studied saunders 4 th edition & mean while I got sick, I coludn't do well. Recently I took my 2nd attempt & got failed with 75 questions again. I practiced 70 question for 2 weeks. I do work 3 days a week. I don't know what to do. My board won't allow me take another test without any written plan of study (Nevada state board). I want to pass this time. Anyone has any better advice to study well And pass the exam.

Get a calendar and map out a plan of study using the Saunders Comprehensive Review. Make a formula, such as three days per chapter. Instead of doing 70 questions per day, increase it to 100. After every three chapters, do a review. Do this for a minimum of two months or six weeks. If you feel you need three months, then take three months. After ten years, you do not need to try to rush it. Also incorporate study of the prioritization book by Linda LaCharity and add the Kaplan review book that gives good info on test taking strategies. Remember that you need to spend enough time to be thorough. Do not let your mind trick you into thinking that you already know something, when that may not be the case. If you run out of material, go back and review it again. If you have done, say, 5,000 questions and studied the rationales, you can say you should be ready. Just don't give up.

wow... I am going to try this out as well... thanks
