Discussion

Pima CC spring 2019

I noticed there hasn't been a discussion for those applying to the September 1st Pima CC ADN deadline, so I thought I'd start one.

I took my HESI today and didn't do as well on A&P as I hoped but my scores are

Math: 100

Reading: 92

A&P: 84

Accuplacer: 112

I have As in my prerequisites except I think a B in Calculus.

No prior degree, no volunteer hours, but I'm trying to figure out what I need to do to eat points for my time in the Army.

jist trying to get an idea of where I stand and hope I get in! Anyone else?

Congrats! I would suggest getting this book and reading it ahead of time because you won't have much time when the semester starts and nursing exams are much different from pre-req classes. You will all have the chance to join student nurses association too and get connected with a mentor further along in the program. The book is called Test Success for beginning nursing students. Save your money and buy a used or older version. It will help train your mind on how to answer questions on nursing exams and save you some frustration in the beginning.

Good luck!!! :)

Test Success: Test-Taking Techniques for Beginning Nursing Students: 978

I got in as well on my 3rd try with 76 point. Im curious what the lowest score they let in was as I know the last CEP application was 72
