It seems like this site, and maybe most schools, seem to do only A&P..........but aren't there others out there like me whose school does anatomy and physiology as separate classes?
I would love a sticky on JUST Anatomy or JUST Physiology so I don't have to wade through info on a subject I'm not taking.......
Anyone else?

I thought most schools have a&p 1 and 2. A & P 1 is anatomy and 2 is just physiology. Thats how the schools around me do it.

My school had just anatomy and just physiology. I took anatomy last summer 5.5 weeks and physio this past spring. There's so much overlap though that it's kinda weird... I still learned physio in anatomy and anatomy in physio. =P But I do know that there's not that many schools that have them separated. It's kinda a rare occurrence.
But anyway... just so you know you're not alone. :-)

Cherish - most of the schools in my area require the courses to be seperate, they won't accept you if you have combined A&P, so I was in the same boat as you. I agree with Violingirl that there is so much overlap that Physiology really helped me learn the Anatomy ( I had anatomy 1st - but didn't learn very much - so I was glad to have a really hard Physiology class)
Good luck this summer and no you aren't alone! :)

Hi there! I had Anatomy and Phys as two seperate classes... Thank the Lord! I couldn't imagine combining the two....
I agree, it would have been nice to see the two seperate courses as a sticky... but I think the norm is to combine them so I don't know if there is a real need for it.
Good luck to you. Phys as a summer course... WoW! that will be tough! Good luck!

I took them both seperately too. My college offered a combined course but it isn't really transferable to many four year schools so I took the seperate courses..I'm glad I did, it was nice to break it up a little.
