Phlebotomy while in school anyone?

I wanted to find out if there are a lot of opportunities for phlebotomy in the RTP area? I have been accepted to a lpn program in NJ but my hubby may be relocated to the RTP area next month. I was going to do the phlebotomy here anyways but now im wondering if its a skill that I can transfer to NC? I went on some of the hospital websites such as Wakemed and Rex etc... and I saw a couple of openings for jobs asking for phlebotomy certification but they are different titles. So would it be easy to get a job or should I look into something else? Please help!

I occasionally see phlebotomy positions posted for the Winston hospitals. Not a lot of them, but a few. You might have better luck with labs, since they do a lot of phlebotomy.

THANKS,

I spoke with HR at REX and UNC and they have positions available for this under different titles. We'll see what happens.
