Please let me know your thoughts on the phasing out of lpns to rns and/or cnas. thanks

Let's phase out anymore posts with this line, been there done that. All it does is make people mad. We are here, we aren't leaving.

This debate was going on when I started nursing school in 1971, and is still going strong. LPN's are a valuable resource, that will be here long after I retire. CNA's will always be needed, by whatever name they are called. There are needs for multi levels of care. I think all of our jobs in health care are secure. Now whether hospitals can continue to make a profit and pay us is another issue!
