Apr 19, 20224 yr Hey, I’m currently interested in applying to PGCC for nursing although I am an out of state student I live in VA, but I want to know what is required to take before applying to the program at PGCC, I done majority of the prerequisites, I still need to take the TEAS and I just wanted to ask if I would have to take a introduction nursing class, as well how competitive is it I currently hold a 3.5 GPA

If you are a PGCC student already, speak to one of the health science advisors before deciding to do anything with classes or the TEAS. If you haven't already, take a look at the admissions page for the nursing program. The program is very competitive. They look at students based on a point system, not just a student's GPA, but like I said please speak to an advisor because they will best be able to direct you in what you should do.
