Ped Books to study for NCLEX

I am gathering materials to study for the NCLEX in June/July and my weak point is peds. Has anyone seen any good review/question books that zero in on that alone? I ordered the cd with the 3000 questions, have Saunders and Mosby review, and a Mosby book with another 1000 questions or so and will be taking the NCLEX review course after graduation. Any other suggestions out there from those of you that have taken it before?

There are not enough peds questions to need to prepare using an entire book. Just go over what is in the Saunder's book. It will give you the best review. Have you been doing the review questions from the Saunder's book? I consider that to be one of the best all around review books that there are.

Thanks for the reply. I have been using the Saunders since 3rd Semester and it has helped a bunch in other areas. I just want to make sure that I have adequate materials to feel prepared when I take the test. I am starting to get really nervous when reading these posts about the different types and quantities of the questions. Again, thanks a bunch!

For peds I use the Review and Rationale book for Pediatric Nursing. It is a nice review. It also has a question CD. The other book is Straight A's in Pediatric Nursing. This book is a little more indepth and works will if your taking the peds course at the same time.

I'm taking the NCLEX in June/ July too.

Good luck!

They have an ob/pediatrics made incredibly easy cd full of questions. I'll be selling mine on Ebay soon...it was quite helpful.

I don't know how to do things on EBAY yet. Do you remember where you purchased it from? Thanks. Approximately what was the cost? Thanks again
