pearson trick & ec practice scores??

First- what is the Pearson trick? I may be overthinking the thread I read....

Second- I read on an EC chat transcript when a student told the advisor he had made a 74 and 78 on the ec practice exams that she replied that that was very good.... I am wondering what were your scores and how do they relate to your actual test grade- higher, lower, same??

Thanks...

Pearson trick has to do with the NCLEX. After you take it, you wait a little while, and then log on to try to re-register. If it allows you to re-register, you failed and if you cannot re-register, then you passed---according to the trick.

Practice exams--Ive gotten anywhere from a 65 to ~84 on all the practice exams and Ive gotten all As and 1 C on the exams. I think that if you get a 70 or above, and then understand the rationale behind the incorrect answers, youll do fine on the final exam.

Thanks for the response- its so hard to tell from the practice ECEs if they are about the same as the ECEs. Pearson trick makes sense and I think Ive heard of that before!
