Discussion

patient acuity system

I searched this forum and only found 1 thread on acuity system for home care. Could other home care nurses give me an idea of how your work load is kept equitable? Any ideas would be helpful. Our workload is not even, and management has no idea what case loads we are carrying on a daily basis. I found out the other day a nurse had 29 clients and another had 8. This is ridiculus. Any articles would be helpful, too.

Our agency does not do acuity. If it is in your area you get the referral. None of the agencies I have worked with or consulted did that either.

Good thread,
