I took the NAT today and it was soooooo stressful (the time constraints and whatnot) but I passed! I got 99th percentile on academic aptitude, 96th on reading comprehension, and 91st on natural sciences!!!!!!
Anyway, just wanted to let everyone know how I felt about it. I know a lot of you are worrying, so I will do my best to ease the worries. I didn't do a study guide or anything by the way, so obviously it's pretty easy overall.
Natural sciences is VERY straighforward. If you have taken A&P and Chem you should be fine. Little to no Micro on it. Most of the questions are A&P/health related.
Reading comp is a bit tough. The pasages are long and there is not too much time in that section. For me, I am a slow reader so it was hard to read fast AND have to answer the questions fast. But you can refer back to the passage. Overall the questions were easy, but completing it in a timely manner was a problem for me.
Academic aptitude was easy. Trust me, I barely passed any high school or college math class, but that math was EASY! When they say eighth grade, they really mean third. :chuckle The rest of the questions besides math are either pick the word that means something different or blank is to blank as blank is to blank. And those to me are pretty easy for the most part. There are some really big words on the vocabulary part though, so if you don't feel comfortable with that you may want to review.
Overall I was pleasantly surprised by the test. If anyone has anymore questions feel free to ask!!!
