I failed for the first time in July and passed on Sept 29th. It's not easy but never give up! I had my moments where I would be depressed, start crying, but just had to shake it off and get back on my feet.
I used Kaplan, PDA by LaCharity, Hurst (got the videos/study guide from a friend), several study guides that I found on here, etc.
The Kaplan Decision tree really didn't help me much because mostly all my questions this time around were (majority) SATA, drag/drop, PDA.
I feel like critical thinking and application are the key to this exam. I really just had to use the knowledge that I learned through nursing school and my study tools to really conquer this exam. IT'S ALL IN YOUR BRAIN! My QT scores averaged (49%-60%) without OT7 and my QB avg was 59% with only 824 questions taken.
This forum has helped me a lot with everyone's answers, opinions, knowledge about how to study for NCLEX!
