I told myself that I would post my NCLEX experience when I passed! I relied on this website a lot after nursing school for support and I hope to ease someone else's fears. I took the NCLEX-RN the first time in June 2017. I studied very little and ended up failing with 265 questions. Thankfully my school offered us with Kaplan material so I started studying that every evening after my toddler went to bed and on the weekends. I took around 50 qbank questions per night and would read each rationale, correct and incorrect answers. On the weekends I would try and take a question trainer test. I also thought the study sheet that is floating around this website was very helpful to look over when I wasn't doing study questions. I just took the NCLEX for the 2nd time on Monday and found out that I passed with 87 questions this morning!! I felt like a weight was lifted off my shoulders!! Don't beat yourself up if you failed the first time, pick your feet back up and keep moving! YOU CAN DO THIS!

I really appreciate this! just failed my exam last month! Ready to tackle the next one, but unsure as to how I'm going to start. Thanks for the small motivation, glad it went well for you!

Congrats! I failed the test as well last month but I've been studying after. I've been reading Saunders and doing questions from Lipoincott Passpoint and LaCharity. Can't wait to pass this test!!
I think it helped me most to do a ton of practice questions! I also wrote down in a notebook things that I got wrong so I could look back at it later. Are you using Kaplan or Saunders?
DaniThe Enchanted You can do it! Keep doing practice questions until you feel like you cant study anymore!
Haha thank you!! So far I'm loving Saunders and Passpoint!! "NCLEX Schmenclex! Just one more hurdle to jump"
