I can't believe it finally happened! =) I passed my state test at the American Red Cross on sat. And it was probably one of the most nerve wrecking days of my life. Lol. But I'm so happy I survived clinicals and the long days of lecture/videos! haha. So on sat my class and I were split up into 2 groups, one for written portion and the other for the skills portion. Once we were done with the written and PASSED, we had to wait 2 long dreadful hours til it was skills test time. I got handwashing(required), counting respirations, shaving a resident, and put resident in a fowler's position. From what I know, we all passed. Now its time for LVN school and hoping to get a job as CNA at my local hospital.
If anyone has any questions on what it was like, let me know. I'd be glad to help.
