The amount of questions answered does not determine whether or not you have passed NCLEX-PN or RN, so, IOW, people have passed or otherwise on ANY end of the spectrum. What they do is continue to ask questions until the computer has determined with certainty that the person has passed or not. If the computer kept feeding you questions past 85, it meant that it was not able to tell whether you have proven competency, so, it had to keep giving you more until it was able to make the final decision.

At least it continued to work with you. There are some that got to 85 questions and failed, because within the minimum amount of questions, the computer determined that this person did not prove competency. I know it is hard, but try and think positive, and enjoy your holiday. I think it is very hard to have to wait more than 48 hours for the results. It is mind boggling. Good luck to you!

hey i know you!!

but dont worry alotta people stops in between! dont be soo worried enjoy ur holiday and think of it AS "the computer gave me more chances to pass!! " goodluck

There were quite a few girls in my class that passed with an odd number. For example a girl I took it with(the same day) got like 164 questions and she passed :) Try to keep busy and keep your mind off of the results. I know thats easier said than done. When I took my test I just tried to keep positive thoughts but also knew that even if I did not pass it was not the end of the world or my nursing. No matter what happens you will be a nurse :)

my friend who went with me to take the test passed at 121

thanks to everyone whos been replying to this thread. it really means a lot! i just pray that i pass cause my family is really depending on me. theres so much pressure, you know? im just sooo blahhhhh about it cause i rarely hear people say that they passed with an "odd" number, its always "85 or 205". just pray for me pleaseeeee!? thanks for the support

p.s- on the nclex-pn i got about 5 meds., 2 calculations, 2 check all that applies & the rest were prioritization. 147..i cant get that number out of my head!!!

How long before you get your results?

a whole month, i think? this girl who was in my class took it last month & she got her results 4 weeks later. this is barely my first week. im going crazy here! im trying to stay & think positive but its hard though, that number is just haunting me!

i waited 3 weeks exactly for my results. try not to stress about it...it will only give u a headache and it wont change the results. i'm sure you did fine though, good luck!

waiting a whole month would be rough. I had to only wait 48 hours...and I went nuts. Well just try to keep busy because no matter how much you worry it won't change the results. I know thats not much help and you are going to stress anyway..because we are only human. But no matter what happens you will be a nurse :)
