I took the nclex in california 5 weeks ago this thursday and have not recieved my results yet. I tried calling the board but failed to reach someone with a heartbeat. I tried the the licence verification page but my name is not there. Does it mean i didn't pass? Or do i get my results before they post my licence? Please help...I'm at the end of a short rope!

It has been 3 weeks since I took the CRNE and still no result. There is no need of this. I am an ICU nurse working in the U.S. and am coming back home to NB. The exam in the U.S. took 2 hours, was computerized and I had my results within 48 hours. The mental strain of not knowing if I passed or not is making me frustrated. I need to make plans and this is holding me back. Why can't the exam be resulted much sooner?

I've heard that CA takes a long time, for some reason that I don't totally understand. I'm in AZ and I found out the next day, but I know that's not the norm for most states!
Hang in there, good luck to you!

I have taken the nclex 3 time the first time it shut off at 75 questions and i failed. The next time 260 questions and shut off and i failed. I took the tesst on the 29th and it shut off at 75 questions and no results yet. I felt sick to my stomach when it shut off this time. The question were a lot harder this time. I had a lot of math and upper tier questions this time. DOES ANYBODY HAVE ANY INSIGHT PLEASE SHARE. i do not even want to think about having to take the NCLEX again!!! thank you

Hey,
I know some boards give the results in exactly 48 hours from the time your results are submitted from the test site. In Missouri, at PersonVue, you can even call a 900 number for results. Try to relax, I've heard of many retaking the exam and passing on 3rd, 4th, and even 5th tries. You won't have this to worry about. Try to relax, it's not uncommon to feel that you've done horrible and find out that you PASSED!
Good Luck to you! Let us know how you did!

hello,
i am not totally positive, but to make you feel better, higher level questions are a good sign.
if you noticed that questions took brain power to answer, and there were less questions, sometimes this can be a good sign.
some people pass at 265 questions
some people pass at 75 questions
some will pass at a level in-between that.
what is a person to do but wait, and it is torture...
hang in there...

Hello there,
I took the Nclex-RN yesterday and finished at 265 in 5 1/2 hours. Too many information and I feel horrible thinking about those questions that I know for sure never got the right answers. Argh!...But, I'm hoping it will be a good result.
