I too didn't pass, the first time. I am preparing to take it again June 7th and would like to know if anyone has some wise words. Unfortunately the first attempt I did not take the test right away as many of my classmates did because I immediately went back to school to finish my psy degree. Now I'm done with that. I just graduated with my BA in Psy and graduated form an ADN program in Dec of 04, so I've been out of the game for a while. When I took the NCLEX the first time there were 2 categories I scored below passing and the rest were just at the passing level. I need all to be above passing level. I have been doing the CD's and signed up with the ncsbn's learning extension for a 3 wk session. I was thinking of doing a review course but they are all so expensive. Has anyone tried those videos they have? Any luck with those? Please let me know. I am also a very bad test taker and get test anxiety. I think if I can just get my CD scores to be 75% and up I will be more comfortable.

I took the liberty of giving you your own thread, since the other was so old.
What have you been using to review up to now? My suggestion right off the top of my head, is that if you are not feeling compfortable with the material right now, delay your exam. Especially since you have been away from the field for so long.
I will be willing to help you, but impossible to get you ready in this short time.
Please read the some of the other posts on this forum, then get back to me.
