welcome to the site

check out this thread, you need to be fluent in French to meet the country's requirement for RN. May be hard unless EU citizen to get work permit but only way to find out is try

As mentioned, you need to pass their language exam, as well as their nursing exam in french. No other way for them to grant a license there. Then the next issue would be getting a visa that would permit you to work there, slim if not at least a passport holder from the EU.

Thank you guys so MUCH!!!

I might see if I can find ANY job in ANY field over there! Becoming fluent in French in six months might be difficult :-)

If you have any suggestions of anytype of work while in Paris for 2 years would be appreciated.

thanks again

First, what type of visa will you even be on that will let you stay for two years?

What type of nursing degree do you have in the first place? For nursing there, you would have to have at least a three year degree, the two year ADN or Diploma is not accepted there for licensure.

If you have a four year degree, you may look at working for some NGOs in one of their offices, or for an English-speaking clinic, but not in the role of RN as you will need to have a license to do that.

(NGO= non-government organization)
