Palomar August 2021

Hi! Thanks for making this! I interviewed on Cardio Acute on 6/24! I'm still waiting to hear a response as well. The nurse manager told me that it should take about 2 weeks. Today marks that 2 week period, so I hope I hear some good news soon! My status on jobvite still says "in process"

has anyone's status changed after interviewing? Or does it still say in process?

No probs! And darn, my jobvite for Surgical Acute says Closed ? not sure if that means they chose their candidates already or it’s closed because they’re done interviewing? Hopefully the latter!

I applied to 8 of the "nurse resident" positions when it first opened. 6 of them say closed. 1 says "not selected". and then "in process" for the one I interviewed for. I was confused on what "closed" meant too! LOL. I hope it means that they are just done interviewing. 

do you know if they will email us or something if we are not selected?

Ahh okay! One of my apps says “in process” but I wasn’t contacted by them so I’m definitely confused. And yes to the email! I applied last cohort and I got a rejection email  from “Palomar Health Recruiting Team”.

Oh okay glad they send something! Did you have the opportunity to interview last cohort? How long did it take for you to receive that email from HR?

I didn’t get an interview last cohort, probably cus I didn’t have my license yet. And then it only took a week after applying

@Athena M The program starts August 9th and I know there's a whole on-boarding process to go through before starting. So hopefully we hear by next week latest! ? 

I'll post updates if/when I hear anything ?

@Athena M quick question! When you interviewed last week did the manager tell you when you should expect to hear back?

She said by this week, but I haven’t heard anything so far ?

My questions were pretty general like why this hospital, why nursing, etc… no clinical questions for me. You got this!

Hi! My questions were very general too. What can you bring to this position, why nursing, etc. No clinical questions. Good luck!!
