Pace Fall 2014 ABSN

Hi There,

I've applied for the ABSN program at Pace for Fall 2014 and recently was notified that I needed to attend an interview. Does anyone have any insight as to what to expect at the interview? Anyone else applying for Fall? Any current or past students available to offer insight on the program? Also, is admission determined on rolling basis?

Whoa, I have a lot of questions!

Thanks, in advance, for any feedback you can offer!

I'm looking forward to meeting other people in our group. I really hope it's a great group. I'm so excited too :) it's going to be great!

They don't really accept a lot of people into the 2 year though. From what I read atleast. I am nervous based on what I've read from past students from 2010 to 2012. They kick people out without hesitation. :nailbiting: And if what they say it's true, they studied hard. Hoping LSN will have more info on that. During my interview they said they changed some stuff up, so that's no longer an issue. Either way I can't wait for next week

LSN2014.. what did they say exactly in your interview about changing some stuff up? Was something brought up to them?

Also... did you speak with Pace about financial aid yet?

Yes i asked them about that during the interview. Just said they had some issues that were taken care of.... And they are fully aware of the problems that caused. But I will be asking that question again to double check. I haven't asked them about financial aid yet

I know that the program can be demanding but I have friends that are in PA programs and they have the same grade minimum. During my interview I did ask what they do for people who are struggling in a class. They said that they do work with people so I'm not going to worry about it. I can't wait for next week either.

BTW what is LSN?

they gave me the 18th as well, but wanted to discuss financial aid etc with them before sending in a deposit

How did you guys make advisement appointments? And I realized once you pay your deposit you can access your portal and your financial aid info is on there (or at least some of it)
