Pace ABSN program starting 2013

Well I am graduating in a few days so my degree in psychology is still in process. I got a 3.4 GPA and basically a pre-req avg of about 3.6. I have experience working in hospitals, mainly Bronx Lebanon. Competition this year was actually at it's max I believe for many nursing programs. Good luck! And thank you I'm glad I don't have to wait anymore lol.

I finally feel like I can breath.... I got in!!! I received the email at 2:03pm. This is been very stressing and I am glad it's over. I can finally said I GOT IN!!!!! tears... of joy!!

Hi Sunshine&Mischief! I just got accepted to the one year program and I would love if you can give me some advice and resources. I have no idea how to use this forum so if you can message me, I'd appreciate it. Thank You and Congratulations on almost being done!!

I was accepted to the 1 year program as well even though I applied to the 2-year program. Does anybody know if we can contact them and make the switch?

Yea the same thing happened with me. I was accepted into the 2 year program and only applied for the 1 year program. Anyone looking to move into the city? Someone should make a group on facebook or something.

Thank you for your words of encouragement! I have to decide wether to go for the one-year or two -year program. Do you think the one-year program is doable? How many people get kicked out of the program in the first year or semester? I have 2 options, one is to quit my job and do the one year program and hopefully find a job right after graduation (not an easy thing I know...) or keep my job by working part-time and do the two-year program and in case I don't find a job as a nurse right away after school I can still have my job and maybe since I already work in a hospital I could apply for a transfer if there is a nurse position open. Sights... please advice...anyone?
